Quick Start Guide

LeagueTrackr is designed to make it easy for organizers to create and manage their leagues, but also to be very intuitive and hassle-free for the league members to use. For that purpose, we offer two separate apps: one for setting up the league structure, and one for the league members to actually use

Admin Console

used by the league organizer to manage all aspects of the league

  • League Info & Rules (that all the league members will be able to reference)
  • Season structure (entry fees, payout and point tracking structures, expenses, etc.)
  • Game Schedule (either automatically scheduled, or manually entered)
  • A list of locations where the games can be played (with custom messages & driving directions)
  • Add users to your league (including support staff, like waiters, dealers, etc.)
You can access the Admin Console from any web browser ny going to:

Main App

used by all league members to access the league

League members will be able to:
  • Check themselves in or our for each game (and easily see other members' status)
  • View the League Info & Rules
  • Browse the Members Roster (with player photos, if those were uploaded)
  • Game Schedule
  • Season rankings (points, payouts, prizes, etc.)
The League Organizer will have greater access through the Main App. For the upcoming game, they will be able to:
  • Send out group emails to all league members
  • Send out game invites via SMS or email
  • Change game details (start date & time, location, etc.)
  • Ability to check any other member in or out
  • Set the Prize Pool, and manage any point or money splitting
Each league will have its own unique web address for users to access. The League Organizer can send each user their personalized link to log into the Main App. The system can be set up to automatically send out login links for each game

Initial League Setup

When you log into your new account for the 1st time, you'll be automatically taken through the setup process for your new league. You'll be able to configure your basic league settings, such as whether you want to track money (entry fees, payouts, expenses, etc.), track points (to track player progress throughout the season), and provide any contact info for your league users to contact you.

Once your new league is created, you'll have the ability to modify the league settings that you chose during the initial setup, and you'll be able to control every other aspect of your league (season settings, game schedule, locations, league rules & info, and create & edit user accounts for other league members). There are a multitude of options to configure, but every setting has a help icon next to it, and pressing it will pop up a detailed description of what that setting does.
There are a few things that need to be set up in order for your league members to start using the Main App:
  • Add Users to give them access to the Main App, and you'll also have the ability to send each user their app login link via SMS or Email
  • recurring games, e.g. every Saturday at 6pm), or you can manually create every game for your season

Accessing the Main App

Each user will get their own (personalized) link that allows them to access the main LeagueTrackr app. Most users won't need any login credentials -- they just need to open their personalized link, which will automatically log them into the app. You may also create users with higher-level access, and those users will need to log in using a password

The League Organizer can log into the main app (using the same credentials that you use for the Admin Console), where they'll have some expanded functionality compared to everyone else. Specifically, the ability to send out game invites for every game (either via SMS or via email), and those invites will include each player's individual link
You can also send either an email or an SMS to each individual player containing their login link from the Admin Console. That can be done from the same screen that lists all the users that you've created for your league
